The Texperts help Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills retrieve his wallet
The more cynical amongst you may think that this was a well-constructed PR ruse, but I’m sorry to disappoint - much as I would love to claim that it came out of our effervescent marketing department, the Texpert’s recent role in the great Scott Mills Wallet Experiment really was a serendipitous turn up for the books!
Setting the Scene:
On his drive time show, Scott Mills decided to run an “honesty experiment” live on air. He left a wallet with £50 and his number outside the BBC and within a few minutes, a young lady by the name of Nadia had picked it up and called him. She met with Scott’s side-kick, Laura, to give it back. But at the last moment, she had a change of heart which resulted in Scott chasing her down the street.
Hostage Negotiation:
Scott returned to his studio to contemplate what he was going to do next, called Nadia and a conversation ensued.

Conclusion (for those without the patience to listen to the conversation):
Now Nadia, as it turns out, also happens to be a great friend of the Texperts’ CEO Sarah McVittie. Nadia decided that she ‘d have a little fun with Scott and gave Sarah a call. After hatching her plan, Nadia then told Scott that he ought to text the Texperts for information on the whereabouts of his wallet. As such, we received a deluge of questions from people pretending to be Scott, and one text actually from the man, which Sarah answered (superbly I may add):

The fall out of which is that this saga will be carrying on in today’s drive time show, so tune into Radio 1 from 4pm and I’m sure Scott will pick this up at some point. He won’t want to go into the weekend out of pocket, after all…

Hi sgtmatt,
Just to reassure you, we’ve checked with our Legal Eagle at Texperts Towers and there’s nothing that’s going to kick off police investigations or law suits about the Scott Mills Wallet saga - it’s a bit of fun on all sides. All we are doing to trying to help reunite him with his wallet!

Haha, I found this extremely amusing. Someone took it a bit too seriously though. It’s the kind of thing I’d have done for a giggle.

Having never ever met her I probably shouldn’t pass judgement, but this Nadia chick seems like a bit of a nutter.
Has she seemed non compos mentis in your dealings with her?
If so, I suspect her peers are to blame.
